Galderia: The Universality Interview

-Who answers this questions?
Hi everyone, it’s SEB, singer of the band!!

-When and how was Galderia created?
The band was created in 2006 by myself! From my love for bands like Gamma Ray, Helloween, etc. We are four in the band! Me: guitar/lead vocals. Tom: Guitar/vocals. Leo: Bass and JC: drums. Galderia is the name of a planet, Kingdom of the Universality of Creation. Eternal realm of joy, freedom, peace and unity! It’s an universal dream!

-Isn’t hard being a Metal band in France? Are there places where Metal is listened?
Yes! Very! Hahaha! We have the chance to have some places to play here, but this style of music stay in the underground.

-How is the metal scene in your country? Do the people support the national bands?
In France you can find a little underground metal scene with a lot of good bands that deserve more than little filthy pubs to play in. The scene is only surviving thanks to enthusiastic people but, stone after stone, something emerges from the underground!

-How hard was to release your first albums as an independent band?
I have put all my energy along one year to bring this album into the light. It’s me that is behind all the aspects of the creation and I have faced a lot of events along the way. But I am happy of the final stuff, I have made my best. I have also received a lot of help from true friends. Blessed are they!

-When did you start to make The Universality album?
I have started in the middle of 2011.

-This song (Universality) was originally released in your second album, right?
Yes! In fact it wasn’t a second album but a second Demo. The first album of Galderia is THE UNIVERSALITY. It’s the first physical album. We have re-recorded two other songs that are: FAR SPACE and ONE MILLION DREAMS, also taken from oldest demos.

-What message do you want to transmit with your music?
The spirit of the lyrics are also important than the music itself. I am inspired by the wonderful power of the Creation, the universe, the earth, the joy of life, but higher than all, it’s an absolute spirit of universal unity that livens up me! And this is what I share to the Galderians!

We are all a part of a whole, a cosmic ocean of energy that we called Creation. We are all connected to it. So we are One. We’ve got the same essence. We just have to realize that, and make our own consciouness grow to reach the universel shores. All is inside of us!

On the booklet of the album and also on the website of the band, I have put some explanations about the themes of the songs. About what is the Universality and what is our place within that!

-How and when did you find out the idea of «Universality»?
I had an awakening when I was a teenager. About the greatness of the Creation. Since this day, I feel all the universe around me, every day, every moment! I feel it, from deep inside me. It’s like a phantasmagoria. And one day, it came like an evidence! The Universality of Creation. The universal ocean of energy that unites us all.

-Is this concept influenced by any author, theory or philosophy?
No! I want to say that I have not read these kind of things before this moment, many years ago, nowhere, in any books or something else. It came from me, completely.

-There are many messages of hope in your music. Is there any hope in mankind?
We live in a darkened world, for sure, and it’s hard sometimes to see the light in this hell! But, from my point of view, yes, we can be hopeful for what must coming! We are living, collectively, great times of awakening, even if the humanity seems to fall more than ever in chaos and stupidity, beings the most sensitive can feel that something goes wrong with the world, and they are awakening like mighty shouting stars!

They are the hope for mankind! We are this hope! And one day, when we’ll be legions everywhere, we will transform this global world prison in a wonderful cosmic paradise! And because we live in an ocean of vibrating energy, things can change very quickly. I will expose my own point of view about it. It engages only me.

We are something greater than we think! We are not only a human body. We have a soul, and this one is in total connection with all the Creation. When we look our reality, we only see the material things, the material world. But the spirit or the soul are something that live out of view, out of senses perception. We can only feel it, from the inside of us!

Mankind is trapped in the dark hole of illusion, where the madmen reign is supreme. They (the elite) organize the human’s society since the beginning to control the knowledge and the consciousness of humanity.

They are our dark side than we do not want to see! We are only slaves for them. Just good to work and obey. If you want to know more about it, make your own search about the New World Order and the secret societies of the elite! You will find something incredible, for sure.

Our power is in the way to make our own choices. We must make the choice to STOP to be an unconscious slave and begin to walk the road of freedom!
But this road is not outside! This road is inside of us. We must free our mind from all the lies that they have put inside. It’s a great quest! The choice is the key. Without a true choice, we will follow the blind until we die.

I feel that the ultimate goal of mankind is to catch the spirit of the Creation! To initiate it inside the human entity. When we will open this door, inside, we will reach eternity! The spirit of the Creation incarnate in a terrestrial body! Amazing, don’t you think!

-What does «Galderia» mean? Why this name for the band?
In the concept of the band, Galderia is the name of the universal realm. No meaning outside the concept. I have choose it for the good vibe of the word. It came to me, one day.

-Galderia music seeks to fix the world?
Yes! We play for the awakening of humanity! To open wide the gate to the universal spirit, for all of us. Because we love humanity more than anything else. We love the Creation, the universe, the wonders of life, the feeling of joy and happiness that we can share all together! So yes, we will never surrender. Until the final day. Spreading the words of power all around!

-Your lyrics often mention the Universe and the stars. What do they mean? How do they relate to your music and message?
The incredible power that comes from the universe is an infinite source of inspiration for me. I see the Creation like a diamond! That shines in glorious majesty. So it comes naturally.

-What are you doing nowadays? Are you composing something new?
I am working on the new album for Galderia at this time. I’ve got a lot of music projects in view, and I don’t see my days pass! I will also make a side project with the singer PIERRINE that you can hear on The Universality album. It will be a Pop/Metal album, very melodic, in the waves of Galderia sound but more soft. Stay in touch!

-How has been the people reactions? What are they saying about your album?
The reactions are very good all around the world. We are very happy of it. Galderians of the world slowly hear the call! Soon there will be a Japan special edition on 27th of March on the label Rubicon Music. That’s great.

-Which differences have you noticed now that you have already released this album? Is different from the early days when you had just two albums released?
So, with this first true physical released we have made a concrete thing in the material world, not only digital stuff. And it changes everything, because people are most interested by physical things, its more «official».

-What can you tell me about your latest concerts? How you’ve felt? How has been the ambience?
We play exclusively in France for the moment. And the reactions are very powerful! Many Galderians in our shows, full of cosmic power. We love to share together high vibrations. It gives us the fuel to carry on and on!!

-How different is this latest album from the first ones?
No difference in report with the others! Galderia evolve in the same style, always. Universal Power Metal! Melodic and powerful.

-What unites your three albums?
The spirit of the Universality.

-Do you have any final comment you’d like to add?
Live your life with joy and happiness. Catch the universal dream inside of you and let your spirit rise! And one day, we will see our paradise! Hail to the Galderians!
